We are an award-winning start-up backed by marquee angel investors. We are looking for a Software Developer, to join our team based in the UK. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for someone to contribute developing our flagship AI platform, working with a high performing and inspired team.
The Software Developer reports into Product Lead and collaborates with other developers, User Interface team, AI/Research team and Product Development program. The role is currently remote working with the occasional meetings in London or Oxford. The working hours are Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm with some flexibility, open to discussion. We will consider part-time applicants.
We are searching for a reliable, detail focused Software Developer with tactical problem-solving skills. Any machine learning implementation experience would be advantageous. This is a hands-on programming position and your input is invaluable for fulfilling the pioneering platform vision. The individual will be part of a small, established team and in an existing development program, working to implement advanced AI techniques.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality applications. They will also be responsible for designing and implementing testable and scalable code. The Software Developer can prioritize their own work and can confidently generate and articulate their own ideas and updates. It is the job of the Software Developer to work within the existing platform framework to incorporate new features and enhancements for verified and reliable results. Testing and bug resolution will be part of their development lifecycle.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field
- Development experience with programming languages
- SQL database or relational database skills
- Competent in writing Python code – building and calling functions.
